Acupuncture as part of Chinese medicine is a complete medical protocol focused on correcting imbalances in the body that when left untreated can show up as medical conditions. Our Acupuncturist’s treatments, sometimes accompanied by prescriptions for Chinese medicine and herbs, work at both the root of the issue – and the branch – how the disharmony is manifesting such as headaches, fibromyalgia, infertility, diabetes, high blood pressure etc. By treating the root, often several issues are treated at the same time.

Alexandra Pollack, Licensed Acupuncturist

Alex is a nationally board-certified acupuncturist licensed in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She holds a Master’s in Acupuncture from the New England School of Acupuncture, where she graduated with first honors. Before working at Synergy, Alex completed clinical rotations at Boston Medical Center and Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital.

Alex is dedicated to providing patients with personalized treatments that promote the body’s natural self-healing abilities. As a practitioner, Alex is known for her compassionate and intuitive approach that integrates mind, body, and spirit. She is grateful to the hundreds of patients who have trusted her with their health and feels privileged to support others on their wellness journey.

Alex draws on a wealth of experience treating a broad range of conditions. She specializes in women’s reproductive health and fertility, digestive conditions, autoimmune disorders, chronic pain (ranging from musculoskeletal conditions to migraines), sleep disturbances, mental health, and stress management. Alexandra also offers facial rejuvenation treatments using acupuncture, gua-sha, and microcurrent to help reduce wrinkles and fine lines, improve skin tone and texture, and balance facial muscle tone.
